Why did you start racing? I first got in to bikes through alleycats and track bikes, so the next step was trying track racing, and then I was hooked.
First Race Story: I think my first "real" race was a miss 'n out in Richmond at the Southside Speedway. I had no idea what I was doing, but I think I ended up getting 4th out of 12 or so. It all goes downhill from there..
1st Bicycle: This really awesome blue Huffy with a coaster brake.
Current bikes: Kazane road, Sparkly pink Scattante cyclocross, GT GTB track, Miyata Pista track, and a fixed gear city / bar bike.
Dumbest thing you've done on a bike: The first time I rode a bike with toe clips I couldn't figure out how to get my feet into them for the life of me. As I was cruising along looking down trying to figure it out, I slammed in to the back of a parked car. Oops!
Special Talents? You tell me..
Strengths: I think I've got a pretty good sprint.
Weaknesses: Probably endurance.
Final words of wisdom? Ride your bike. Have fun.
