Why did you start racing? After racing local allycats through downtown MKE, The Dower Ave. crit looked like too much fun.
First Race Story: I raced my first race with an air pump on my bike along with a powerbar that melted all over my cellphone in back jersey pocket...
1st Bicycle: Mongoose Sniper (flatland bmx, do people still do that?)
Current bikes: BMC Streetfire, Iro Mark V, Specialized P2
Favorite Bicycle story: Riding with Phil (Rapid Transit) through downtown Chicago at Midnight through the Wacker levels. I felt like I was in Gotham city..
Bicycle superstitions: I usually push down on my tires seconds before the start of a crit to check psi, not like it would help.
Dumbest thing you've done on a bike: I tired to Endo on my P2 in front of traffic and flipped over my handlebars to the amusement of the other drivers.
Special Talents? Jumping down stuff on my P2.
Strengths: Climbing, consistent training, wheel sucking
Weaknesses: Race starts, Sprinting
Final words of wisdom? Don't decide to take apart your bike the night before a race.
