Andy Toumanoff

NAME: Andy
AGE: 21
RACE DISCIPLINES: Track (4), Cross(4), WORS(Sport/Sport SS), WEMS
GOAL(S) FOR THE ’08 SEASON: Top 3 season series in 4's on the track, a couple of top 10's cross, top 15 regularly. Cleaning, or "Andy Cleaning" a WEMS race.
BEST RACE RESULTS: 4th overall Cat 4 Season Series Kenosha Track 2007
WHY DO YOU RIDE: I love racing, and normally enjoy riding. I can't get over the rush of a good track race, or a really fun MTB ride.
CURRENT RACE BIKE(S): Track: BMC Track Pro, MTB: Specialized Sworks HT 26", Specialized Stumpjumper Comp 29er, sold my cross bike
DREAM BIKE: I'm not sure.
RIDING OR RACE RELATED SUPERSTITIONS: I mess with my helmet a bunch.
DUMBEST THING YOU'VE EVER DONE ON A BIKE: Putting my gorgeous ancient Cinelli drops on my commuter "just for a day".
MOST HELPFUL TRAINING TIP: Ride when you want to.
FAVE BIKE SHOP: Ben's
FAVE BEER/DRINK: Bell's Two Hearted Ale, although that's a tough one. I can't necessarily single one out, but if I have to... and Hendriks and tonic.
MOST FLATS IN ONE RIDE: 2 in one lap at Blue Mounds after no flats the entire season before that race. No flats afterwards either. Blue Mounds is cursed (for many reasons).
FAVE RIDING STYLE: Off the front.
MY FIRST BIKE WAS: I don't remember
I WISH I NEVER SOLD MY: cross bikes, but only because I want to ride one today. It'll be fine by the time cross rolls around.
THE CYCLING WORLD NEEDS MORE: Drugs (just kidding). More velodromes.
IN THE OFF-SEASON: I ride Miss Pugs.
ONE DAY, WHEN I WAS RIDING I met my teammates.
SPECIAL TALENTS: Breaking helmets.
STRENGTHS: Continuing to ride after crashing repeatedly during WEMS races.
WEAKNESSES: Crashing repeatedly during WEMS races.
