Goals for the upcoming season: Get CX upgrade in the first few races of the season. But overall get my three this season and have fun.

First Race Story: 12 Hours of Temecula in November of 2006. Slept in the back of my 4-Runner the night before and almost froze to death. I was on a three man team with a guy who was an experienced racer and a former Olympic skier who was three times my age (and 100% faster). Getting screamed at by a Norwegian guy at ten o’clock at night for being slow is a hoot.

1st Bicycle: He-Man Huffy circa 1984. 1^st “real” bike was a Redline 420 BMX rig.

Current bikes: CX/Focus Mares, MTB/Felt 29er, Road/Focus Izalco (Campy) and Steel Masi Single Speed.

Favorite Bicycle story: Heft on Wheels. Not my story, but a good one none the less.

Bicycle superstitions: More of a bad habit, over tightening every single bolt on my bike.

Special Talents? I was a golf professional for ten long agonizing years.
